Dynamic private practice of 18 in central New York is recruiting future partners! The practice services two health care systems in the region as well as brand new hospital. The group maintains separate dedicated IR and Diagnostic night/evening coverage with nighthawk in place. Needs are for:
• Women’s Imager with some DX or General Rad with Mammo, breast procedures, stereo, etc.
• General Rad with basic procedures (paras, thoras, CT guided biopsies, etc)
Weekends from home are 1:5. Volume is 100-120 studies per day with 50% being films and balance in US, CT, MR and an occasional NM. Daily volume is 8 RVU’s per hour. For the General and Women’s/Breast Imager, you will receive 600k salary, 12 weeks vacation first year with partnership after 1 year.
• Interventional Radiologist – spend 60% of your time in the IR. This is a brand new hospital with a brand new IR suite. Join two full time IRs. Dedicated 1:4 IR call (no general call required). Candidate should be proficient in treating GI bleeding, catheter directed therapies for pulmonary emboli, hemodialysis catheter and portacath insertions, maintaining hemodialysis fistulas/grafts, performing biopsies, inserting nephrostomy tubes, biliary catheters and abscess drains. Peripheral vascular disease and interventional oncology skills are a plus. For the IR position, the starting salary is extremely negotiable and for the right candidate, partner level income from day one! With short track to partnership.
